Spill The Wine
Steeped in a long history of California winemaking, ‘Spill’ is the next Bynum incarnation of a concept which was a brainchild of wine industry pioneer Davis Bynum, creator and founder of Barefoot Cellars, who, in the beginning of his newfound wine career, needed cash flow.
While reminiscing with a friend about his earliest winemaking endeavors which involved the crushing of grapes by his children’s bare feet, the concept for the needed cash flow was born, a popular and affordable wine with a bare foot on the label.
Susie Bynum, also steeped historically in the wine industry and, by the way, still in possession of two of the original bare feet, decided the time was right to reproduce Davis’ concept and call it “Spill the Wine.”
